i just came across this super cute pic of some of my video installation students from last semester--jake, min jeong and nadia. the photo was taken during a class on rear-screen construction. we built mini screens..fun times..

Claire's shoot

above is a studio shot i took during a video shoot this past weekend in bloomington, il. you can see claire's sculpture here. she hires me to make the videos that are installed with her sculptures. below is one of the photo stills from the shoot. we let kids run through the jell-o poppy sculptures at the end. so the still below is of the teensy legs of one of her toddler models. you can double click to see them bigger.

the last few days have given us a break from the snow and it's been rainy instead.. oh grey chicago... clayton is crossing his fingers for a snow day tomorrow. the weather man says maybe up to a foot.

the squirrel that taunts our kitty

i thought i'd start my blog with the squirrel that has been taunting sasha for the past month. this morning i finally got a couple of pics. unfortunately, the last one is blurry but shows how this little guy likes to hang out on the electric wire that runs just outside our window. i think we'll have to name him soon..
