these were all taken around my parent's house when i visited in may. i was stuck with a grandpa Canon Rebel and even more horrific.. a kit lens!! ahh.

i was just looking at bill conger's website today. i really love his work.

the pieces are always tinged with a sadness or a feeling of longing. then, there is this other layer of humor brought out by his use of seemingly benign materials and their arrangements or placement in a space. the work is so smart but not too clever.
